The easiest way to relieve stress - Dance it out baby!

This is my all time favorite practice of all time.


Yep. Literally just dance it out. The invite here is to let go of whatever is it that you are expecting to feel. Whatever you were expecting to learn. Whatever you were expecting it to look like. Let it go.


What would it feel like to accept whatever is offered up in any experience, and just be with it? Move with it? Give it space?


What would that feel like?


Take a moment for yourself and step into a state of curiosity.


What would happen if you changed your natural approach and just stayed with what is, instead of trying to escape it. Or trying to turn it into something else. Or criticize it.


Which takes us directly to the practice. It’s actually a regular workshop I give and actually my first ever class offering ever – the flagship of everything I do. Cause it's simple, joyful and so effective. You can do it anywhere.


Dance is your birth right. There is no right or wrong way of dancing. It is a naturally creative way of creating space between the cells. To shake, wiggle, sway, bounce, rotate, swing.....


To move the body freely = instant space.


Whatever you are feeling in this moment. I invite you to dive into it, choose music that resonates with you in this moment, and move your body. Any movement is creative. No choreography or worrying about what you look like. Step into a space of feeling, feeling, feeling. And dance.


Remember the scrumptious feeling of letting go and just moving to the music. Giving way to let the body move. Letting her do her thing.

Now go get your music of the month set up. And you need some inspiration, check out this, or this, or this, or this playlist. Set your timer for anywhere between 15-30 minutes.


Now Dance, dance, dance. Set yourself free. Let go of what it looks like, and step into what it feels like - Sensations!!


Once you’re done take 5 minutes to lay down and feel the sensations throughout the body. Then journal your experience. Here are some prompts for your journaling:


  • Do you notice any patterns arising? Limiting beliefs? A distracting little voice in your head?

  • Maybe new sensations are popping up inside of you?

  • Are you feeling more alive. or more stuck?

  • Perhaps emotions are starting to move and flow, and it wasn't the experience you were searching for.

  • You are opening more and more to the spaciousness within. Or you are encountering numbness. Or avoidance.

Remember that it's all OK. And it's all a natural part of being.

Journal about it, and notice how it changes over time. I'd love to hear your experiences.


The easiest way to integrate this into your life is to dance for one song per day, after every practice or meditation. One song. You choose the music.
